The AC-MER-M5-2RP (Mercury M5-2RP) is a multi-device interface panel for the replacement of the Casi 2RP reader control device. The AC-MER-M5-2RP is built with a matching form factor to
the Casi Micro5 line of access control hardware allowing a fast “screwdriverless” change over and easy migration of a Casi client infrastructure to the Avigilon Access Control Manager system.
Built to provide the ability to control access for two openings, this panel offers support for two readers capable of being individually configured for Wiegand, Magstripe, F2F or Supervised F2F card reader protocols. In addition the AC-MER-M5-2RP has the capability to monitor the door position, manage the door locking hardware and request to exit devices, with an auxiliary output available for each reader. Each legacy enclosure will support up to six AC-MERM5-2RPs.
The AC-MER-M5-2RP and the Access Control Manager system are integral components in the Mercury M5 Bridge family approach to migrate Micro5 hardware legacy to the flexible, feature rich Mercury access hardware, providing customers an open platform future
based on Authentic Mercury controllers.
