The FRITZ!Box 7272 combines a powerful ADSL/ADSL2+ modem for speeds of up to 24 Mbit/s with a Wireless N router compliant with the latest performance standard and a versatile telephone system with a DECT base station.

Fast connections with Wireless N and gigabit Ethernet
The FRITZ!Box 7272 is ideal for networked applications like IPTV, video on demand and media streaming. The integrated ADSL2+ modem, 2 fast gigabit LAN ports and 2 Fast Ethernet ports with high-speed Wireless N grant all computers and multimedia devices ultra fast connections to the Internet and home network. Wireless N technology compliant with the latest performance standard provides for wireless data transfer rates of up to 450 Mbit/s in the normal 2.4 GHz frequency band. Further advances in wireless LAN transmission procedures result in significantly improved radio coverage at better data rates – even over greater distances.

Comprehensive telephony features with a DECT base station and analog/ISDN ports
The FRITZ!Box 7272 is equipped with a telephone system for Internet telephony and the analog fixed-line network. Besides the DECT base station for up to six cordless telephones, this includes two analog ports for telephone, fax or answering machine as well as one port for ISDN telephones. With just a click of the DECT button on the top of the housing the FRITZ!Box 7272 supports automatic registration of a new handset (pairing).

Using videos, music and more in the entire home network
The FRITZ!Box 7272 is equipped with a fast USB 2.0 port to connect USB equipment like printers or hard drives so that they can be used by the entire network. The expanded NAS function allows online storage to be integrated seamlessly in the home network. An integrated media server makes the videos, music and pictures it stores available throughout the entire network even when the computer is switched off. Devices that support UPnP-AV (such as HD televisions or stereo systems) can play back these contents at any time.

Comprehensive software package with FRITZ!OS and MyFRITZ!
The FRITZ!Box 7272 includes a comprehensive software package. This includes a firewall, parental controls, wireless LAN night service, wireless auto-channel selection and much more. With the new MyFRITZ! service, it is child's play to access personal data saved on storage media connected to the FRITZ!Box from anywhere in the world – using a smartphone, tablet or a computer.
