EET celebrates 1 million trees planted in the EET forest

EET is proud to announce a major milestone in our sustainability initiative, as we have reached our Million Tree Pledge and planted 1 million trees in the EET forest, an initiative that supports reforestation efforts around the world.
Since partnering with Ecologi at the beginning of 2021, we have planted one tree for every five shipments leaving the EET warehouses. The EET Forest project has also benefited from the many contributions of EET’s valued suppliers, supporting World Environment Day and Green Friday, making it possible to achieve this remarkable milestone in just a few years.
We are incredibly proud to have reached 1 million trees in our EET forest, and we owe a huge thanks to our suppliers for their contributions. This milestone is a testament to the power of collaboration and the impact that businesses can have when they work together towards a common goal.

To celebrate this achievement, EET has decided to give all of its employees a special gift - a water bottle made from reusable high-grade stainless steel and a cap made from 65% recycled waste plastic floating in the sea. Each water bottle provides water for 1 person for 7 years as it is part of a drilling project in Africa. On the bottle, there are GPS coordinates to the well we helped fund.
We are certain that our employees will appreciate the fact that besides helping them stay hydrated, this initiative contributes to providing clean drinking water to those in need.

The EET forest project is just one of EET’s sustainability initiatives, which also includes reducing energy consumption in our warehouses and offices, promoting sustainable packaging, and reducing waste.
