The ATS1744 is a functional isolator for the ATS-Databus. It splits the RS485 ATS Databus into 4 isolated ATS databus slave-loops. These slave loops can be used to isolate peripherals in different areas. Therefore, the isolator can isolate up to 4 Areas.
