EET is ready for tomorrow - Launching our new visual identity and state-of-the-art webshop

EET is growing and emerging and our professional profile has evolved significantly over the past 34 years. We now feel that the natural next step is to upgrade our visual identity to reflect the journey we have taken and support the one that lies ahead of us.

“After careful consideration, we have settled on a logo and graphic identity that celebrates our heritage and history as a customer-focused and professional partner and we believe it will carry EET well into the future”, says Søren Drewsen, CEO, EET, and continues: “The thoughts behind the logo are many – we wanted something instantly recognisable, contributing to a strong market recognition of EET across markets and business lines, ensuring a modern and contemporary design. Yet, it should be simple and respect our heritage and history to keep a strong sense of familiarity and affiliation. Going forward “EET” will be a joint name and identity”.
 

WHAT DOES THE LOGO SYMBOLISE?

The new logo is a graphical interpretation of a horizontal lightning – the universal symbol of electricity. What characterises EET across business lines and borders, is that we distribute tech products. The lightning points upwards, symbolising our position as a growing company.

As people are our greatest asset, we also wanted our logo to express a soft and friendly visual, which is why “eet” is not in capitals, but maintains its rounded shapes. We have always been recognised for our striking blue colour and we did not want to change that. However, we have given our colour scheme a slight update to match the new identity, making it more vibrant, professional and modern.
 

NEW WEBSHOP

In extension to our new visual identity, we have launched this new state-of-the-art webshop, enabling us to embrace all of our customers and suppliers in one combined platform. New search filters, product categorisation and enriched product data allows for a more accurate search function. Customers can now enjoy even more features on their My Account page, which gives a great overview and self-service. A highly increased usability and full responsiveness for mobile and tablets improves the overall customer experience greatly.
