The name says it all with the LMP USB-C SuperDock: A total of 15 ports leave nothing to be desired in terms of data transfer & connectivity, video & audio, and network connection. And the included 130W power adapter supplies the MacBook Pro/Air with power via USB-C (Power Delivery 3.0/100W).
Thanks to the USB-C dual connection to the host as well as the latest video chipsets with support for the DP1.4 standard, up to 2 external monitors can be operated independently (Dual Monitor Support) and at up to 4K@60 Hz (Extended Mode). For dual monitor support, you need to connect one external monitor with HDMI 1 port while the 2nd external monitor can be connected to either one of the HDMI 2, DisplayPort or Mini-DisplayPort port. Note: MacBook Ari/Pro with M1 can only display a single external monitor due the M1’s limitation (see specs at apple.com). Good to know for Mac users: Older 24″ and 27″ Apple LED Cinema Displays can be connected easily too (but not the Apple Thunderbolt Display!).
A great number of USB peripherals can be connected to the SuperDock thanks to the total of 7 USB ports. With one USB-A and 2 USB-C ports, a maximum of 10 Gbps data transfer can be reached; 2 USB-A ports are classic USB 3.0 ports (5 Gbps) and 2 additional USB 2.0 ports are suitable for simple USB devices such as a USB keyboard or mouse. Thanks to BC1.2 recognition, some of the USB ports can also be used to charge and synchronize iPhone or iPad. USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports can be quickly accessed at the front, while permanently connected devices can be connected at the rear with minimal cable clutter on your desktop.
For easy access, a UHS-II SD card reader as well as mircrophone in and audio out ports are located on the front.
A fast and stable network connection can be established via the Gigabit Ethernet port.
An on/off button on the back prevents power consumption while in idle/standby mode. When switched on, the SuperDock delivers the MacBook with power according to Power Delivery 3.0. However, the SuperDock can also be operated with an iMac or Mac mini as the power delivery function will then be automatically switched off.
The LMP USB-C SuperDock also features optical qualities: A high-quality aluminum case, which can be placed horizontally or vertically, fits perfectly into any Mac environment. The aluminum is not only timelessly elegant, but thanks to the integrated cooling fins it’s also ideal for dissipating the heat generated inside.
The LMP USB-C SuperDock – super in connectivity and versatility for both portable Mac and desktop Mac.
