For best performance and compatibility, we recommend the use of solid core patched cables.
The Extender features bidirectional Power over Cable (PoC) functionality, which provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied alongside data through Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between the transmitter and receiver, meaning only a single power supply is required at the transmitter or receiver unit.
