How we describe the MDI-3100
The MDI-3100 is an advanced, high performing 2D imager that scans at a speed of 60 fps and has an integrated decoder. Additionally, the sharp line of green LED makes it easy to aim the scanner. Due to the high speed performance of the MDI-3100 ensures that the user can scan stress free. Moreover, the power consumption in operating, standby and low power states has been drastically reduced. Furthermore, various power saving settings can be configured in low power mode. The MDI-3100 communicates with a Serial CMOS (12 pin FFC connector) and supports most barcode types. The engine also has various scanning methods including triggered scanning, auto-trigger, continuous scanning and multiple read scanning. As well as these methods the engine comes with several additional settings.
For the testing and evaluating of this scan engine we have a development board, the MEK-3100. This separately sold development kit enables you to evaluate the scan engine without the need to develop any electronics or cables. Take a look at the kit here.
