Through the utilization of AI (artificial intelligence) and edge-computing, leading brand Robotto Co is fighting wildfires around the globe using DJI Enterprise drones!

The edge-computing used in Robotto takes the power of a drone and multiplies it with the power of AI. Not only can this software support fire identification, real-time calculations and data reporting back to the controller, but it also has an incredible ability to alter the course of the fire's direction. Due to global warming and land use changes, wildfires are expected to become more frequent and increase by 50% by the end of 2030 (UN report 2022). Another critical measurement used in determining wildfire forecasts is vapour pressure deficit (VPD) which indicates the rate in which the atmospheres moisture is drawn from vegetation and fuels. The daily VPD has increased 25% from 1970 to 2020- resulting in hotter, drier air that is favourable to increased burning.
