EET turns "Black Friday" into "Green Friday"

Green Friday News 710X400

In the beginning of 2021, EET entered a partnership with Ecologi, a company dedicated to finding the world’s best climate crisis solutions. On top of the carbon credits we already buy to offset emissions related to our outbound shipments, EET plants 1 tree for every 5 shipments leaving our warehouses and we are committed to planting at least one million trees by 2025.

In the efforts to turn “Black Friday” into “Green Friday”, EET has invited selected suppliers to join our initiative and contribute with trees to our forest. Planting trees is one of the best tools in removing carbon pollution from our atmosphere and each supplier has committed to planting 10.000 trees in the EET forest.

The reforestation projects support the UN Sustainable Development Goals number 15 covering sustainable management of forests and combating desertification. Thanks to our valued suppliers’ contribution, we will plant an amazing 200.000 trees for Green Friday.

We are very pleased to see that several of our suppliers wish to join us in this green initiative. We are convinced that efforts to compensate our climate footprint matter to our customers. It is not only the right thing to do, it also makes good sense businesswise
