The HID Global VertX® high performance interface and I/O modules communicate through a high speed RS-485 network using industry-standard TCP/IP protocol over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet or the Internet to Avigilon’s Access Control Manager (ACM). Whether interfacing with process equipment such as HVAC or video switchers, or expanding the door/reader capacity to meet project requirements, the VertX line has the versatility needed for sending access information to any of the two available Network controllers.
